背景音樂 : 《Christmas Can’t Be Very Far Away》

從上星期六 （12/13） 晚上開始，大西雅圖地區就下著大雪。許多學校不是停課就是延遲上課，在學校工作的聶先生當然也跟著賺了好幾天的假。

印象中這似乎是我來西雅圖後最冷的一個冬天。過去幾年這裡雖然也下過雪，卻不曾像今年這樣一連下了這麼多天。原本早在冬天來臨前我就盤算著如果今年下雪的話，一定要帶女兒出去堆個雪人還是打雪仗的，可惜這幾天加恩又病了，玩雪的計畫只有取消。不過因為加恩一直吵著想出去玩，我們只好讓她出去看個幾分鐘的雪，過個小癮。

過去幾天來我們足不出戶，哪兒也沒去。今天下午一家三口還是窩在家裡，一面望著窗外的雪景，一面吃著熱呼呼的越南麵，覺得很幸福。飯後趁著加恩午睡的時間，我一個人溜到外頭賞雪，當然也順便帶了攝影機拍了雪景留念，畢竟下次再能見到這麼多的雪還不知是何年何月呢!

※後記: 這場雪後來結果下的太久，讓一向愛雪的我也感到厭煩了呢!

The kids can do the Santa thing
Photographs and all
We’ll get the biggest tree this year

And spend a whole lot more
Than what we’ve got
But so what

Come next spring
I know we will be
Ready for the sunshine
Right now throwin’ snowballs
At each other’s such a fun time
Kids will think were crazy
For a while and that’s okay
